Hair disasters

I'm mot a hairdresser but have had some disastrous hairdressing experiences:

1. hairdresser accidentally shaved the bottom of my hair off to just below my ears, didn't tell me and let me leave without saying a word. I got stopped by someone at work who asked what had happened to me! Free haircuts for a year from the manager whilst my hair grew back
2. I cut my fringe with wallpaper scissors whilst drunk. It did not end well for me!
3. dyed my hair red but it went wrong and I could have been mistaken for a post box with eyes

Am I the only one?!

I have had a few nightmares with new hairdressers. I go in with my hair pulled in a ponytail and explain I want it shorter BUT NOT TOO SHORT AS ITS REALLY REALLY CURLY AND WILL SPRING UP WHEN DRY!!
The last one completely disregarded this. I knew it had gone wrong when she suddenly stopped and said "gosh.... It... Really is curly isn't it?" I knew at that point I was destined to look like a lego woman. It was honestly like someone had put a triangle on top of my head.
