This is really bugging me, so I'm hoping someone can help 😀
I saw a clip of a movie/TV show where the main actor rushes into a classroom looking for the teacher who he is dating/went on a date with.
As the teacher turns round, he sees that it isn't her. He asked the woman where the usual teacher is, only to be told that she isn't in today and noone knows why.
He rushes out and then the scene cuts to him pulling up on a driveway and rushing up to the house with some flowers.
He is greeted by the homeowners nurse. The homeowner is the mother of the woman he is looking for.
The mother is in an electric wheelchair. She turns round and informs the man that her daughter died in a car crash last night. He is stunned. The mother blames him for letting her drive home in bad weather.
...then the clip cut out and I can't find in again (annoying Facebook reels!).
I recognised the male actor and it is really bugging me that I can't remember his name!
I'd say he is in his 40s (ish), has chin length dark hair and often plays nervy/quiet characters. He reminds me of a young Joseph Gorden Levitt from his 3rd Rock from the Sun days.
Does this ring a bell to anyone? I'll be eternally grateful 😀
