Will he be kept out of prison next time due to full prison

Hi 👋 I was just having a think. My daughters ex beat her. He went to prison originally for 9 months. Done 4 months let out but gate arrested and back in to prison. He's been back to prison 4 times for breaking restraining order. So when he could have done just the 4 months in prison he ended up doing 3 years. When he had been let out of prison he's back inside within 3-5 days.

He is classed as a heigh risk offender. But I worry with the prisons being full next time they may not send him back. I think once he's not on licence to send him back it has to go to court so its harder .

Just wondering if anyone had any insight about this sort of thing.

It depends on so many things that nobody will be able to give you a definitive answer I am afraid.

Sorry posted too soon. This will depend on the prison capacity where you are, the type of sentence he is on currently (if any), risk assessment, other interventions available and so forth.

None of us can give you a firm answer but if he commits a crime or breaks a restraining order they will take it seriously because he's a high risk offender

Yeah I know there's not an clear answer. Whole thing just worrys me. That's all.

If he commits another offence he'll be more likely to be remanded due to his previous risk assessments.
