Felix was on special offer-I was weak,and gave into temptation and rejected the Whiskas. I spent the money I saved on sweets. I await my penance....

That stuff's like crack for cats - it'll be wolfed down. Meanwhile, you'll get lots of posts on this thread telling you you're feeding your darling animal something with no nutritional value, etc, etc and need to do better.

No penance required I don't think. Your nose will thank you when it comes to dealing with the litter tray.

The only downside is you might be stuck buying felix now

Not crack to my cats- they are refusing it. They have given me very hard stares and have gone outside to plot. I have 38 pouches left! Does anyone have any good slow cooker recipes?

Oh dear. I hope the sweets were worth it. My 2 would be giving me filthy looks, eye rolls and desperate cries of starvation for bringing Felix into the house. I made the mistake once about 10 years ago.... never again! 😹

Just leave it in the bowls. Cats are stubborn creatures who play a looong waiting game, but they'll cave if hungry.

Our cat had a bumpy start to life and will willingly eat anything, although she does prefer tuna to mackerel__.

That's my plan-I'll keep you updated. Trouble is-I live in an area with many fat, tasty rats.......

I think that Felix Corp® were just being community minded, during the cost of living crisis and fully intended for you to buy sweets / cake / a miniature gin.

I was more thinking of Felix Bolognaise, but if Orange Cat keeps looking at me like that, yours is a tempting suggestion....

I'm sure this has been asked, but has anyone done taste tests? We buy the Applaws, and even though it's fresh fish, duck etc, they seem to really like the more processes stuff... or maybe it's the variety...

What can we treat them with?

@WhateverMate My dp likes tea and biscuits in bed on a Sunday morning. One of the cats joins him-the other one comes rushing down so as not to miss anything- then is just completely baffled. He searches round hunting for whatever they are finding delicious....
