Moving to Maidstone

Hi, we are after some local advice please! we are looking to move to maidstone, St Peter street / waterside gate specifically as there is a hous we are looking at, and I was wondering if there has been any flooding to this area? Also is this a nice part of town?

Yes. St Peter Street is right on the river and known to flood, hence why all the flats are built on stilts! Last time Maidstone town centre flooded, it was the other side of the river mostly though.

Hello everyone. First time on this platform. I am looking for advice on moving to Maidstone. I live in Surrey and thinking about moving to Penenden Heath (near Boxley Road) but I am not sure if it is the right move for my family. Any advice on the area is greatly welcomed.
