KirstenBlest · 20/10/2023 19:33

Maybe not Lloyd or Steel.

waltzingparrot · 20/10/2023 19:40

How about an Old English surname?

Mayberry or Luxford

MyGooseisTotallyLoose · 20/10/2023 19:41

Look at a Jilly Cooper for inspiration!

bonzaitree · 20/10/2023 19:42

Who is your fave author / actor / other person you admire?

MariaMeringue · 20/10/2023 19:49

Something beginning with D and three syllables - Davidson, Dangerfield, Delaney, Devereaux... I love alliterative names :)

or, as you have a French first name, something with a 'de' prefix Woolf sound very glamorous - de Beauvoir, de Forest, de Montfort, de Villiers

MariaMeringue · 20/10/2023 19:50

Sorry that was meant to say 'would', not Woolf!

KirstenBlest · 20/10/2023 19:51

Surname from your mother's side, like your maternal grandmother's maiden name.
Name from a place you've visited that you really liked - river name or village name
Surname from a favourite novel.
Surname that is a favourite first name of yours (Harper, Hudson, Casey, Charles, Vincent etc)

KirstenBlest · 20/10/2023 19:52

Woolf

CurlewKate · 20/10/2023 19:52

Any names you like on your mother's side?

KirstenBlest · 20/10/2023 19:52

Wren, Marlowe, Hadley, Reay/Rae, May, Grace,
Dalton, Dennis, George, Jenson, Cooper

Edited to save adding lots of messages.

What was your mothers name before she got married?

Steal

Loads of meaning behind that and it sounds good.
