Anyone landed at Gatwick today?

I’m flying in this evening and although there are no delays, I see the weather looks quite bad. Has anyone landed there today and can tell me what it’s like?

I'm not a million miles away from Gatwick - about 40 minute drive - and it's find here. Blue skies and some cloud.

My phone says that it's currently 16 degrees at Gatwick and partly cloudy, with clear conditions expected around 19.00. No rain forecast.

I live 20 mins away the weather is now sunny and blue skies!

Oh yay!! Thank you so much. I’m not a nervous flyer but seeing that plane skid off the runway this morning at Leeds gave me pause!

My friend landed in Heathrow an hour ago without issues, which isn’t too far away in terms of weather.

I just landed at Gatwick, was lovely and smooth. Sun is shining currently. I know at least one northern airport is closed but hopefully it won't affect you this far south.

I'm also about 20 mins away. Blue skies and the leaves are barely moving in the breeze. Last night on the other hand...

I’m coming back from Italy which has been lovely and warm so I think it’s going to be a shock to the system!

Gatwick ATM (1620 UK time) is clear skies, just a gentle breeze...maybe a chance of showers...no real change forecast.

OTOH up at Leeds Bradford it's cloud down at 500 feet and a wind gusting up to 30 knots ( about 35 mph) blowing right across a wet runway....

I live right next to Gatwick. No problems here with weather at all.
