How much is a Gregg's cheese and onion pasty?

I'm unwell with some sort of cold virus, very snotty and grotty. DH has just been out and offered to get me something for lunch. I had a real fancy for a hot cheese and onion slice, so on his way home he stopped off and got that for me and a sausage roll for him. This is at a local bakery. Not Gregg's but nothing fancy!

Anyway, so the server put £3.50 into the till and DH went to pay but ... NO! this was just for the C&OS - the sausage roll was another £2.20. So he paid £5.70 for those two little pastry items. I mean aibu?

We don't often have them so it was a real shock . No wonder we are broke all the time .

It’s £5 plus for a pasty in my town and £2.20 for a sausage roll it’s an average price.
utilities and wages have all gone up so in turn so have goods to buy
the bakery are there to make money at the end of the day

I think that’s a bargain, 8.60 for a coffee and an almond croissant near me
