Just that. I'm feeling a bit under the weather right now, and have a solo weekend ahead. I'm also right in the middle of this horrid storm.

What would you do with your weekend under these circumstances? I'm lacking ideas, other than lie on sofa drinking tea....

Walk and podcast does wonders for my mood, takes me ages to psych myself up to it but always feel so much better after. appreciate weather might not be on your side.

Bubble baths, shit food, shit telly, wine when I'm not pregnant. Animals, I don't have a pet but I love dogs always feel better once I've been around one or if I can borrow one!

Cinema alone, have only done it once but loved it, took McDonald's in 😁😁

Hope you feel better soon xxxx

Do you have any hobbies? I'm learning to crochet so today I'm off work and planning a trip to a wool shop a look round some shops lunch out on my own and then home to read a book, I do like a look round a farmers market on a Sunday and then lunch out.
Cinema visit but I don't think there's much on right now.
Any local towns you could visit for the day?
I have 2 teens at home and a disabled husband its got to the stage where noone wants/is able to come out with me any more so I often just go off on my own for a bit.

Books/ magazines, something good to watch, nice food, hot baths, early night in bed.

Book, favourite chair and blanket.

Walk somewhere preferably without traffic, so country park/around a lake/beach.

Long, hot bath with fancier bubbles than my usual ones.

If all else fails my favourite “beige” food especially if home alone and don’t need to feed anyone else.

I award myself a sparkly sticker or a chocolate coin if I need cheering up, or I buy myself something inexpensive but pretty from the charity shop.
Sometimes I play with my finger puppets, making them do silly voices, or I make cake and eat it all myself.
Put some music on and have a little dance around the room. I usually use 90s pop but different musical genres work for different people.
Sometimes I do a bit of embroidery, colouring or painting, but mostly I just do silly childish stuff like puddle jumping or cracking ice puddles.
I'm just a big kid really, but kids laugh more than grownups and I think they're onto something there.

Exercise, hot bath, clean bedding, fine food.
