A rambling thought for the day!
I was thinking this morning as I was in the bathroom sticking some toilet cleaner in and giving it a swish, there are so many things that we just have to do as adults if we want life to run smoothly. I get up and while in the bathroom clean my teeth, face and then the toilet. I have been reading Atomic Habits and it really is true that when things become habits we don’t even have to even think about them let alone worry about them. It got me thinking of the things we really have to do every day. I fight against certain chores regularly, but in the end they just have to be done. Eg if I don’t put my car keys away in the drawer I will waste time looking for them later, yet often I will leave them in a pocket or chuck them somewhere. If I don’t put loo cleaner down daily in a week the loo will need a deep clean. Little things that we HAVE to do, yet sometimes I just can’t be a*d.
