Suggestions please for things to do in London which would suit a 13 year old and a 16 year old. It will be a day trip. Thanks in advance for ideas 🙂

We've done quite a few days to London but I think my favourite day was when we literally just went from sight to sight, looked at it, took a photo and hopped back on the tube to see the next one.
I do also like the Eye and the Aquarium.

What about the Bank of England museum? There is a real gold bar that you can pick up!

Coal Drops Yard then walk down the canal to Camden Market?

My daughter is 15, we've been to London quite alot. Her favourite things have been various museums (V&A, science, natural history, war museum). She liked the tate modern too.

She loves a mooch around the shops (handy as Oxford Street are open till 10pm so we've done it after daytime activities!). Her favourite place is Camden Market, loads of quirky shops!

A show, Wicked was a huge winner for my dds. DD1 wasn't sure at first but absolutely loved it.

Site seeing, you can see alot from various buses or get the tube around.

I want to take dds to the London dungeons but dd2 is a bit too young and will freak out.

I've done tower of London and that's really interesting, I plan to take dds at some point.

My 2 loved the Mithraeum. Or the museum of automaton. Lego store. M&M shop.

It depends what they like really. We love the museums, Imperial War is a favourite. England's only Stolperstein is in London, but only of interest if you're into Nazi/Jewish history.

Mine love the science museum. We always have to stop in there - and it's free! They also liked the main sights.
Another thing I've done with teens is a boat down the Thames from Westminster to the Tower of London. You see a lot of good sights and the guides are usually quite entertaining.

It depends what they are into. This week I took DD14 and a friend to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year show at NHM, the science in music special exhibit at the Science Museum, then for a lovely afternoon tea at the V and A. We are doing the Diva and Chanel shows there next week. Next week, DS12 and I are off to Borough Market, the London Dungeon and the Ghost Bus tour- there’s something for everyone in London!
