My dd still plays with toys mainly hotwheels and lego. She also still enjoys softplay ( with younger siblings). Her friends are mostly boys and they all still play very active games hide and seek etc.

All the other girls in her class are like mini teenagers. I love shes her own person but worry shes not

Half asleep so a messy post sorry

Absolutely normal. In fact, what's not normal is the rate children are growing up at these days.
I'm 23, my bed is filled with cuddly toys (much to my partners despair) and I have a habit of buying our daughter toys I had when I was younger, so I can re live my childhood 😆

@AutumnalPumpkin I never had a care bear as a kid so my dd aged 10 bought me one for Mother's Day out of her own money and that lives on my bed with a teddy I loved as a child, one I got when I was 16 and one I got when I gave birth 😆. Meanwhile DD has announced she wants to get rid of most of hers

That is so sweet 🩷 I think I have actually accumulated so many as my daughter wants to get rid but I can't let go, so they then live with me instead 🤣
