DD received her exam results this week and got into her preferred school.

But no children we know got the minimum score for any of the local options.

Was it particularly tricky this year? Does anyone have any anecdotal information about scores in their area?

Does anyone have any insight?

In our area around 20% of children passed. I think this may be slightly lower than average.

It will depend on your area, not every area sits the same exam.

The same percentage always pass. This is the number of places available.

What location are you?

We're Warwickshire.

Because there's a constant number of places I'm assuming there's a constant adjustment to account for how many take the exam.
