I can't find my car insurance policy!

How can I find out who my insurer is?! I've searched my email account - nothing. Nothing in inbox or sent box. No paperwork.

An online checker says I'm insured. I remember sorting it!

I can't find any trace of it.
Can't find anything leaving my bank direct debit.

Seriously stressing!

Try searching for the word "policy " in your email- and if you can on a p.c not a phone. Look for emails that have attachments too

Bank statement possibly?

Have you got a multi car policy where yours is attached to your partners but they've got all the details?

I only say ‘may’ because I’ve only used the industrial version…but that shows by number plate who insures any car in the U.K.

Did you maybe pay by credit card for a full year rather than by monthly direct debit

Put your registration number into mailbox search, that's the only way I ever find mine

Look through all the apps on your phone? Or did you use Compare the Market or similar? So search for comparison sites on your email as well. Do you have another email address? Can you check bank statements to see who the payment was made to?

Search bank statement for card payment as it it was on autoregressive likely taken by card not dd. Askmid link previously posted will show if it is insured.

Can you remember the month that it’s renewed and check you bank account/credit cards.

Car insurance, house insurance, health insurance? Which one is it?
