Vitamin Deficiency check?

I'd like a test to check for any nutritional deficiency. I know my GP can do things like Vitamin D, B12 and Iron but I'd like something more comprehensive including vitamin's C, E, K etc and other B Vitamins, magnesium and so on. Is anything like this available as an at home test you send off?

I'm also interested in a test for the gut microbiome.

Yes, but not for Vit C which varies massively throughout the day, or Vit E which is not necessary in human diets - don't fall for any con trying to get you to test for these. You don't need all the B vits either - basically your GP can test you for the stuff you actually need,

But why would he. GPs are there to check for pathology not to provide random testing on request

I'm sure there is and thank you for not expecting the NHS to do this for you

I have a health issue and I am sure the GP would test for these things if I asked I was just interested in a broader check. However I am sure my GP would do my Vitamin D, B12 and Iron if I discussed my concerns with them.

I wouldn't expect the NHS to do any wide vitamin testing or microbiome testing as it doesn't seem to be something they typically offer anyway. As it is I am looking to find a private provider for these tests.
