Dinnerladies, west wing, band of brothers, pride and prejudice

WhereYouLeftIt · 19/10/2023 16:32

Doctor Who, I'm halfway through Matt Smith's reign, I'll watch to the most recent and then go back to Christopher Ecclestone and start again.

Green Wing never fails to make me laugh, no matter that I know what's about to happen.

Joan Hickson's Marple, David Suchet's Poirot, although I'm admiring the wonderful backdrops as much as their acting (perfect casting!).

Films: Groundhog Day, The Adjustment Bureau, Edge of Tomorrow, About Time, So I Married an Axe Murderer.

SomimliaDacor · 19/10/2023 16:34

The West Wing, @craigth162 @winniethedoo have you also seen Newsroom? Also written by Sorkin. Brilliant.

The Good Wife
Pride and Prejudice either version
Sense and Sensibility (my favourite film ever, thank you Emma)
Persuasion, I have 3 versions
Jurrasic park movies
Die Hard, every Christmas
Castle but I haven't seen until the end, but the first 4-5 seasons, brillliant
Greys Anatomy

I dip in and out to find favourite scenes.

Windows - the Lynda La Plante series from the early 80s. I think it’s got the best premise of any crime series I’ve seen. I’ve watched it 563356842578 (approx.) times. Also Tenko. And a kids’ show from when I was little - The Witches and The Grinnygog. Argh - now I’m going to have to watch them all again

ImCamembertTheBigCheese · 19/10/2023 16:46

Star Trek Voyager. I often watch and/or listen while cooking or cleaning or watch when I am stressed. Doesn't matter if I can't see the screen, I've seen them all so often I know what is going on!

usedtobeasizeten · 19/10/2023 16:48

Serenity and Fifth Element are both so brilliant. I’d stop what I was doing to watch them too.

Roystonv · 19/10/2023 16:57

Film - Lucy (no waffle) and yes Pride and Pred and Sense and Sensibility (quite a bit of waffle!). Weird that some tv shows I thought I would always like, say Friends, I can't watch now.

Nokoolaidherethanks · 19/10/2023 16:58

Oh and Blackadder goes forth. So so good, and always makes me cry at the end!
