Candles and other burning smellies

My DD is really into candles, diffusers, incense, etc. I already encourage her to buy good quality essential oils, usually from Neal's yard. Are there any candles that are safe to burn in her room? I usually buy her a Yankee one but I appreciate they might not be the safest?

Do you mean safe from a fire safety perspective, or safe from breathing in lots of toxic chemicals?

Soy or coconut wax candles. Yankee are paraffin wax

Incense is a good idea.

How old is she? I wouldn't want anyone who wasn't an adult having a candle with a flame in their room and would never allow it. Breathing in poor quality materials is one thing and fire safety is another entirely.

Could she not use wax melts in an electric warmer for the same principle, an aroma diffuser with some good quality oils, or even LED candles - some of the more expensive ones look reasonably realistic and certainly give the same effect in a holder where they're mostly concealed.

Candles, even natural ones, pollute indoor air with VOCs and soot. Do not recommend indoors.
