Can I pay a £2,000 cheque into Barclays using my local post office branch? The barclays App has a limit of £1,000.

Just wondering if the post office will have a limit in amount as well.
I don't want to queue up and find I've wasted my time.
The nearest barclays branch is a bit away.

If you do on-line banking you can pay cheques in online by taking a photo - full instructions are there, but i dont know if there is a limit on the amount.

@MaxwellSmart if you have a cheque book there are often paying in slips in the back of it if you want to use the post office

Although I just read the link and you need a deposit envelope too

They have envelopes at the post office that you write your bank details on. I paid in a cheque on Saturday at the post office cleared today. I bank with Barclays too.
