I was crossing a side road with my 4 yr old DS holding my hand and my 8month old DS in a pushchair. We were almost fully across the road when a car came round the corner and didn't stop. We had to run out the way otherwise he would have hit us! Thankfully we are all physically ok but it definitely shook me up thinking about what could have happened. DS doesn't seem too worried by it as he is so young and unaware of what just happened (which is a blessing I guess).
I've just tried to report it to the police online and it seems as though without an independent witness or video evidence, nothing can be done. I did manage to memorise their car registration as it drove off, but there were no other witnesses and there is no CCTV. So now what am I supposed to do? Film on my phone every time I cross a road "just incase"?
