Comfort food, what's your favorite?

We are having cheesy peasy pasta today!
Thick cheese sauce with peas and some leftover ham added and baked with pasta twists until it is all bubbling and brown.
It's a hug on a plate.

Another favourite would be cheese and potato pie or homemade corned beef pasty.

Beef stew and dumplings, followed by crumble and custard ☺️

Baked potato with cheese
Spaghetti with lemon, garlic, anchovy, olive oil
Yorkshire Provender Cauliflower and cheddar soup

A sausage dinner from the chippy.

Mac n cheese with lardons and tomatoes on top or chilli with nachos, cheese, guacamole, soured cream and jalapeños.

Mmm beef stew and sausage dinner both sound good.

tomato soup Heinz with white bread .... for when ill.
crusty bread and cheese.
mac and cheese.

Slow cooker rice pudding with lemon zest and vanilla. I use rice milk and it works a treat.

Any variation of carbs and cheese - cheesy mash, Mac and cheese, baked potato and cheese, cheese+chips+beans…
Or Dal!

Hot buttered toast

Mash with sour cream, garlic powder, Parmesan and loads of butter 🥰

Lamb stew
Shepherds pie
Sausage, mash and gravy
lasagne and garlic bread
chicken casserole.
Cheese toastie

desserts - apple pie and custard, cherry crumble and custard, really thick and heavy vanilla cheesecake, chocolate fudge cake and custard.

The weather is cold which always makes me hungry!

Tartiflette.

Basic macaroni cheese, no bonus ingredients.
Heinz tomato soup with white bread to dip.

Cauliflower cheese with added mozzarella and grated Parmesan and Cheddor topping.
Served with parmentier potatoes.

This is tonight's meal, I can't wait!

My version of Welsh rarebit (with mustard but no Worcestershire sauce or alcohol)

A plate of my amazing, crispiest ever roasties 😆 with a bowl of gravy to dip in on the side 😋

Homemade steak pie, potatoes and vegetables.

My current is heating up mashed potatoes, and loads of roasties, with red onion and spinach, mashing it up, and frying it like hash browns, and serving it with home made tomato sauce and a poached egg.

My mum used to make ‘savoury mince’ which is mince with peas and carrots in gravy with mash. So comforting. I always make it and it reminds me of being a child.
