I am so disappointed......

🤣 to show this is not a big deal!!

Yesterday someone made a niche reference in a post on here. I was so happy that I caught the reference and when I replied said something that showed I got it.

No response. Nothing. I am so disappointed! I thought I had found a soul mate.....😢 Oh well, I will continue to plough my lonely furrow.....

i never get a response but did yesterday (not op, I wasn’t being clever) but I didn’t want to seem needy so I ignored it. Even though I left it open on my phone for ages. The mystery of why I don’t make friends is not a deep one.

I'm trying to get people to play on The Archers thread, which is usually a fairly light-hearted place. No-one wants to!

Annoyingly, quite often the next time I go back to any thread I've posted on, someone has replied to the post either

  • immediately before mine
  • or immediately after mine
  • Shouting into the void, I call it WinkBrewBrew
  • Bastard bullet points, go away, I only wanted 2 bullet points Grin

See, I've just responded to a poster who made a funny comment on another thread, acknowledging it cos I can imagine her checking it every so often & thinking, 'that was funny but no one responded.' Just want to acknowledge the effort they put in.
Could be totally wrong though & they couldn't give a shit!
