Has anyone watched Uncanny? Spoilers if you haven’t!

I have just finished the first episode (huge fan of the podcast!). Miss Howard has creeped me out, how amazing that they found out she actually lived at that house.

I’m not a massive believer in woo but I am very open minded and loved this episode, I hope poor Nora Howard where ever she may be is at peace. And I’m glad I don’t live in that house now 😅

I didn’t think it was amazing at all, it was obvious from the start how the episode would go!
I also found it really unconvincing- it’s so easy for a neighbour to have remarked to someone in both families, ‘oh, you’ve moved into Miss Howard’s house!’ rather than it being the definite proof of paranormal they were making out.

I was more interested in the time travel, but that wasn't mentioned that much. Hoping it crops up again in the next episodes

I'm not a believer either but it was very creepy. Keep going Op, my OH has been listening to the podcasts for ages and they get better!

I've really enjoyed all the podcasts and I was really excited for the tv series, unfortunately I've found it really disappointing. I think it's much creepier without the visuals and Danny is just weird. I've only seen his face in a still picture on BBC sounds before. On the television he comes across as a bit mad and his hairstyle is awful.

Danny is an strange looking man , but I do wonder if the hair etc is just done for effect ?
The Enfield one is always mentioned and I think Janet was just jumping on the bed ! ( I remember reading an article once where they admitted it was a hoax , but I might be wrong or it wasn't about that particular house)
They didn't mention that one of the girls 'spoke ' like an old man too. (A lot seemed to go on in that house at that time)
I'm not a non believer, I do think these things do happen to people, but sometimes it is hard to get your head around too plus why didn't the spooky things carry on after the man and his sister moved out of the house up north ?
