Egg donation

I made a decision to donate my eggs. Forms filled in and waiting to see if I will be accepted as a suitable donor. My husband is onboard and supportive. I don't have any children of my own. I have two step children. I am quite certain of my decision and have considered all the facts including the contact information once any successful live babies turn 18.

I am also not worried about the actual harvesting procedure. I have undergone several gynae procedures.

What I would like some advice and experiences on is the injection process. How do you feel during? Are there any things to look out for?

Thanks!!

I donated my eggs a few years ago. The injections were generally OK but did leave me feeling tired and a bit tender in the abdomen. It was like I could feel my ovaries swelling.

I started off injecting on one side of my abdomen all the time until my clinic pointed out I should be doing it on both sides apparently!

I found it fine, as long as you are not worried by needles. I did feel quite bloated towards the end, though, and DP also did this and ended up a bit overstimulated and feeling really nauseous and crappy for a few days around the actual egg collection. Also just when you have done it and you think all the injecting is over, they give you 10 days' worth of blood thinners to inject.

I froze my eggs. Eat a lot of protein and take it easy but it's fine you'll just bloat
