Please give me ideas for keeping cats out of my garden

I'd assumed that having a dog worked, but in all my years of dog ownership I've never come across cats this obnoxious/fearless.

They're not well looked after which I suspect doesn't help.

How can I keep these bloody things out of my garden?! The dog doesn't seem to work, not does lavender or citrus peel, and apparently they're not too concerned by water either.

Should be obvious, but I don't want to hurt them, and I don't want to spend a lot, so please give me some wisdom!

There are some sprays you can buy that put them off if you spray it all along the border of your garden. I used to get it in Wilko but I guess home bargains or B&M would sell it. There's also the old urban myth that if you put tiger/lion wee in your garden it scares them off, but god knows how you get hold of that!

Lion poo. From Amazon. Worked for us!

You need to get Your Own Cat. A really territorial moggy .

We have little plastic spikes on top of the fences… they don’t hurt the cats because they know they are there and don’t jump on them.

The little buggers just climb over the new gate that doesn’t have spikes… need to get some more.
