Would someone please take pity on an uninformed American here and fill me in on what a 'pudding' 'junket' is? Must be a down under thing..@Mothership4two @Newestname002 ?Confused

Junket used to be called "curds and whey". It's made of curdled milk.

A junket is also another word for a party or trip away involving a party. "They went on a junket"

Old-fashioned English dessert made out of full fat milk or single cream and sugar and flavourings or booze thickened with rennet. It's a bit like a panna cotta. I haven't eaten one in years probably because of the rennet. My aunt used to make a lovely vanilla one with a crumbled chocolate flake on the top.
