I need blood tests, the ones where you have to fast from midnight (so I am seriously grumpy because I can’t have my morning coffee), but I have to drink loads of water because I have “difficult veins” so need to pee every 15 minutes. Drive to the hospital pathology lab this morning as they are best at finding a vein, heavy traffic means it takes 40 minutes rather than the usual 15, put $6 in the meter for parking, take the lift up to the lab and at the door realise I have left the request form on the kitchen table! Please tell me someone else has done something as stupid as me today.
