Help me find this fiction book written by 2 authors

Please help if you can....I've tried google with no luck!

I read this book at least 24 years ago. It was a fiction book, boy meets girl and was written by 2 authors. Each chapter alternated between the boys viewpoint (written by male author) and the other from the girls point of view (female author).

My memory of it is pretty sketchy but I do remember that the boy lived in a converted pub. In London?

And I think the cover was blue! I know....grasping at straws here!

It popped into my head the other day and I fancied a trip down memory lane and reading it again.

Oh no ... I think I remember that too ... but can't remember what it was called or who it was by ... are you absolutely sure there were two authors though?

Def 2 authors.....that and the pub are the 2 things I'm fairly certain of!
