Romantic break South Wales/ Gloucester

Looking for ideas for a romantic birthday break in the South Wales/ Bristol / Bath/ Gloucestershire areas - but not the Celtic Manor.

Looking for somewhere more boutique, with good food and in a pretty area, not necessarily city centres. Maybe somewhere to walk/ see the sea/ nice gardens/ village. That sort of thing.

I recommend Llanerch Vineyard Hotel, Hensol Rd, Hensol, Pontyclun CF72 8GG or The Bear Hotel in Cowbridge , or hire a lighthouse cottage down at Nash Point Lighthouse.

Bit further north and west but Pensons near Tenbury wells is da bomb. Food (Michelin star) and rooms In beautiful countryside. Fabulous.

Barnsley House is lovely. Stay at the pub if you want something a bit cheaper but still nice. https://www.barnsleyhouse.com
