I love brene brown. Power of vulnerability book is great. You can try the Ted talk first before you commit.

Self Help For Your Nerves by Claire Weekes - if you suffer from anxiety it will help when nothing else does.

Alchemy by Rory Sutherland - changed my way of looking at and understanding the world.

Mister God This Is Anna - just because it’s wonderful and influenced the way I think about many things.

I've read many books over the years but the only truly life-changing book that I've read is the Bible.

Marilyn French “The Women’s Room” (showing my age).

The Claire Weekes anxiety book already mentioned is incredible. Her method helped to cure my driving anxiety (with exposure and 'floating' through the feeling of anxiety).

I have struggled with alcohol and found the book Quit Like a Woman by Holly Whitaker life changing for me. It helped me deal with my shame in a way no other book on the subject was able to reach. I am now over a year sober and life is much better thanks to Holly’s book.

I like Philippa Perrry, and find her books quietly readable, and with a few Aha, now I understand a bit better moments.

Goodness I haven't heard of Mister God for about 40 years, everyone was reading it in the early 80s. I'll have to take a look again.
