Is there anyone who works in/has knowledge of car insurance with regards to renewals/switching to a new car?
This year when my renewal was coming up, the company I was with sent an email simply saying 'sorry we are unable to provide you with a new quote, please get yourself insured elsewhere' ✌🏽 and that was it. I went to the compare websites and the same company came up as one of the cheaper options so I re-signed with them, so my question is why was I able to do that but they weren't able to? I've had nothing change ie no points or claims, in case that matters.
Now it's my friend. She's been searching for a newer car for the past 4-6 months. She initially found a car she liked and called her provider and they gave her a quote, but the sale fell through. Fast forward several months a she's now put down payment on another car (different brand) and on calling them they've told her 'we can't provide you with a quote, nothing is coming up'.
So what would be the reason for this?
