Local rural connection

hoping that someone can help!
we are currently in the bidding process for a house and have bidded on a new build in the area.
we already live in the area, and also have immediate family in the same village.
The property will be first served to people with a ‘local rural connection’
Has anyone been successful with this?

On the system I'm on you have to provide proof that you have a local connection before theyll even let your application go live. If you didnt have to do that all you'll have to do usually is get a copy of somthing with their name and address on it like a utility bill or somthing

Yes I have done all of that, our current address is in the same village as is my father in laws. Just wondered if it actually happened and if people were successful
