Batch cooking

Our diet recently has been truly appalling. We’re having major works to our house, combined with the fact that my twins have started to have dinners at primary school meaning they don’t need a cooked dinner as such when getting home. We’ve had far too many takeaways and beans on toast type meals.

so this weekend I have made

Chicken Biryani

tomato soup

meatball tomato soup with giant couscous

everything is portioned up and I feel like I’ve actually accomplished something.

what have you batch cooked or done this weekend which made you feel better?

I have had occasional bursts of energy when it comes to batch cooking, mainly curry or a Spanish chicken style dish that my daughter loves. But I'm well out of the habit and I need inspiration!

So I'm following your thread for that. It does make me feel organised when I do it, and being able to provide an evening meal before 9pm makes me feel even better 🙈.
