DD fell off bike and hurt

DD (6) slipped in a bit of mud while on her bike and had a bad fall. Hurt inside her bottom lip, a bit of bleeding which stopped after a few mins and her nose had a bit of bleed. She was very shocked and told me straight away she had a headache. She was wearing a helmet and to be honest she didn't hurt her head as far as I'm aware.

I didn't take her to A&E as I didn't think it was that bad, but now a few hours later she keeps telling us she has a headache and a tummy ache. She doesn't seem to have much of an appetite either, although she did have a big gingerbread cookie and an ice cream after the accident.

I don't want to go into A&E really only to be told 6 hours later that she's fine, but I am worried aboit her headache, although I'm not 100% sure what she means by that, as sge dies complain aboit things on her body sometimes that aren't true. However, I can't stop worrying.

Can anyone relate or have any advice? I'm thinking of calling 111, but in my experience that never got me anywhere.

Check her helmet fits and is worn correctly too. My son mountain bikes and has had a couple of heaven head first fallls and his helmet has always saved his lips and nose as the front of the helmet takes the brunt of the floor.
hope she’s ok

Her helmet is not badly fitted, it's just that she was keeping her head up and just injured the bottom half of her face, not sure of any helmet would have prevented that since she hurt herself on the pavement?
