Britons trapped in Gaza

Apologies if this is uneducated, but I can see the news saying that Britons trapped in Gaza will be supported.

If people can’t get in or out of Gaza, what sorts of Britons would even be trapped in Gaza in the first place? Would it be news reporters? Sorry again if uneducated.

People who live or work there, probably.

The parents-in-law of the First Minister of Scotland are there visiting relatives. It is reported in many newspapers along with the stories of many other British nationals.

All sorts of people. People living and working there, people visiting or caring for family members there.
