Are Normadic yogurt pots safe to eat during pregnancy?

Hi everyone

I'm 16 weeks pregnant, found out yesterday that I'm having a little girl! I had a normadic yogurt pot for breakfast today but it doesn't say if it's made with pasteurised milk or not? It was bought from Tesco, was it okay for me to eat it?

thanks

Yes it's pasteurised.

You mean Nomadic? I can’t see anything particular about them to avoid - what was your worry?

PJS2023 · 15/10/2023 12:41

Just the fact that it didn't say if it was pasteurised or not, that's all

They’re pasteurised. Milk products commercially manufactured and sold in the UK will be pasteurised unless they specifically state otherwise. You’re only likely to come across unpasteurised or “raw” yoghurt at a health food store or farmer’s market etc.
