It's so cold in my house, I want to buy an electric heated pet bed for my cat. Would love your recommendations please.

Honestly, don’t bother. The more you spend, the more likely your cat is to treat the bed like it’s radioactive.

Mine uses a heated pad. They used to have a heated bed but the dog would sleep on the top and crush it. It saves putting the heating on and costs pennies to run.

I wouldn't bother wasting money. A normal fleecy cat bed in a draught free location will suffice. Cats curl up in a tight ball to conserve body heat. Mine have survived for years with this 😉

An electric heated pet pad have my cat an awful rash on her tummy. All the hair fell out and she had oozing sores. Not sure why, but we dont use it anymore.

I've bought one for my cat and one for my DH to have under his desk to keep his feet warm!
I like the ones where you can adjust the heat so you don't need it too hot to keep them cosy.

✔ Said the person who truly understands cats. 😁 And most cats prefer your bed anyway.

Or a shoebox!

I'm not sure I'd bother to be honest. Perhaps a microwavable heat pad covered in fleece blankets would be a cheaper alternative.

Going back many, many years now, my mother had a siamese cat. She also had one of those huge stone hot water bottles that were still widely used in the early half of the twentieth century. I think they were made by Mason Cash? She used to fill it with hot water and wrap it in old woolly blankets on winter's evenings and the cat loved it. He would drape himself over it from late evening and stay there all night. 🤣
