Teacher pay

Posting here for traffic as teacher/staff room thread is quite!

Is teacher pay scale M6 currently £38810? The salary for September 2023 is listed as £41333.

My pay slip states the lower amount....is that correct or should the latest increased amount (£41k) be there?

Confused!!

The 6.5% pay increase is still being discussed and agreed. You'll get back pay to September when it's implemented.

I'm exactly the same, on the same pay scale. I've been told about a rise but haven't yet seen it in my pay.

Schools are being told December before they see the pay increase in their pay packet. Support staff in a similar situation and they’ve been waiting since April!
