Shortage of Stilton? Anyone else found this?

I have tried twice this week to buy some Stilton and tesco salt and black pepper crackers and they don’t seem to be getting any stock. Has anyone else noticed a lack of Stiltonny goodness!!

No - weird unless they are hoarding it for Christmas! We switched to this for our routine blue cheese a few years ago - might fill the gap until it's back in the shops:

Yes there was no going back once tried! My daughter had a wheel of it as part of her cheese wedding cake and it disappeared long before anything else!

At this time of year the stilton manufactures hold back stock in order to be able to fill the Christmas orders.

Then there's tons of the stuff lurking on the shelves in January!

It's me I've been going mad on it recently.

I bought some in Aldi the other day. It didn't last long, probably explains why I can't fit in my trousers
