Do you decluttering by stealth?

I am so sick of the DCs toys clothes and clutter. Whenever I try to declutter my DH starts saying I bought that - as if he has some emotional attachment. Or he plans to sell it if he think it’s worth something but very rarely gets round to it. We have an old pushchair in the garage that he said he intended to sell but has not got round to it. As he bought it he won’t allow me to get rid of it. Planning to declutter quietly and think that the small toys and bits they probably won’t notice.

does anyone else else do this?

DH and I have made a pact to get rid of 1 thing a day each between now and Christmas - I'm slowly filling up an unmarked box with toys, and will donate them in a few months if no one asks where they are!
It's become a little competition each day, to find our one thing!
