I'm sick of e-on next . It's stressing me out so much

E -on next have been sending me letters warnings of me not paying my june bill threats of added fees etc . I paid my june bill in june . I have sent several complaints. They acknowledge me say things like we can see your bill is upto date or in credit . But they still kept sending me letters.

They have now charged me 20.00 debt collection fee when I have no debt with them . I know 20.00 is not much but it is to me. And I don't owe it either. As I have said I have sent complaints but they do nothing .

I have a smart meter and I'm scared they will click a button and put me on a pay as you user. Then it will cost me more .

What can I do?

It was pretty easy all online, you explain the problem and add your evidence so keep screen shots of emails, call logs and letters then you'll get someone assigned to your case who will call you and talk you through the process. If you need help feel free to PM me xx

I also went to the ombudsman over eon next and won. They are the worst company

I'm another who successfully went to the ombudsman with e.on next. They are an awful company.

Another person who currently has an Eon Next case with the energy ombudsman. It took them 1.5 years to fix my broken smart meter and now they refuse to compensate me. Should be an easy win as I kept all correspondence.

Eon-next are idiots.
I've recently had to change my old PAYG meter for a smart one. I needed a new battery in the old one which I asked about in February....and May.....and July...and September by which time the answer was "don't have any old style meters so you'll have to have a smart one"...couldn't have told me that 6 months ago..wonder why. The new one was installed and then the "fun" began. They didn't change it to PAYG for 2 weeks and then "forgot" to transfer the £409 that was on the old meter and they are now telling me I owe THEM £15 for the amount used between having my meter and them finally transferring everything across. I rang yesterday, told them that if the credit was not transferred by midnight tonight then I would be raising a formal complaint to the Ombudsman. Cue lots of meaningless apologies, a few "ummm errrs" and the £££ miraculously appeared on my meter 3 hours ago.

Apologies for the rant but dealing with them has been like swimming in treacle.

This is one thread I’d like the Mail to pick up on ! Eon next also have really good trust pilot reviews and they simply must be fake - every single person I have dealt with there has been useless at best and they have lied outright over and over again. Appalling they’re allowed to keep trading .
