Hi all,
I have never seen this book and don't know if it exists. However, I would like to start teaching my son about the seasons, and have a specific book in mind. As this isn't a book I've actually seen, I'm posting this in the hope that others might have a book that fits the brief and be able to share.
I'm looking for a big (a4 minimum - think Where's Wally size) hardcover. I would like each page to be the same setting, most likely a big and busy park or something, which with each page becomes a different season. The trees will get leaves, they'll turn green, red etc. The people will be wearing different clothes, doing different activities - Snowmen/Christmas trees in winter, ball games / picnics in summer - something that really highlights the distinct stereotypes of UK and natural seasons. As my son is autistic, I wants the book to be really clear and for each season to be distinct (not, for example, a book where some pages have some autumn bits, some summer things, but with overlap). As life goes on, we'll explore other cultures, more subtle seasonal changes, but I really want this as a clear foundation.
Does anyone have or know of a book that would do the job? TIA!
