Best Orthopedic pillow

Didn't really know where to put this so picked chat.

I need a new pillow mine is old and loosing it's shape.

I have a tempur orthopedic pillow. I 100% need the orthopedic shape as I get bad neck pains when I sleep on a normal pillow.

I like the Tempur pillow however it is to small. I've tried the 1 size up and that is too tall in the rise. (Ds however loves it)

Any suggestions?

Groove pillows but they are not for everyone. I find exercise and that pillow keeps my neck and shoulder aches away (from hunching over a desk all day). I think it’s lovely and my husbands is now my spare one!

After a lot of experimentation I found that accurate pillow height was more important than any pillow qualities. Most pillows are too high.

Got a wool pillow with a zip, carefully removed just the right amount of wool - with DH monitoring that my neck was in a straight line.

Wonderful.

2 years on DH has neck pain and wants one too.

@AnnaMagnani. The pillow height is very much an issue for me I know this. But I also know I need the lower down middle for my neck to be supported.

I had an orthopedic pillow that you could add to (and take off) like you describe and it was great but it fell apart after only a few years.
This was when I got the Tempur and while it works its not brilliant hence I was asking for suggestions. I am once again waking up with a sore arm. I am a very still side sleeper

@FairyMaclary sorry my post is really confusing and I can't edit it.

Is there a rise for the neck on the Grove pillow? It looks like an indention in the middle.

You sleep with your head in the middle if you sleep on your back. Or with your head to the left or right side if you are a side sleeper.

Hiit training and that pillow have stopped all my neck aches 😀. It’s marvellous! I’m around 5 foot 6 so my shoulders aren’t particularly wide, I mainly sleep on my side but I try and sleep on my back for some of the night. I naturally move from the middle to the side of the pillow.
