engineering summer camp / course for 12 yr old in London?

Hi all,

My DD will be 12 next summer and she really wants to learn more about engineering (and has done for years - not just a fad). I am a humanities person through and through so have no idea if there is even a thing for kids this young so I turn to wise MNers to ask for your advice.

Is she just too young for anything interesting?

If not, where is a good place to look? I've googled but can't make any sense of the various courses as I don't know enough about the subject to discern between the shit ones and the ones that might actually be good.

Argh.
