How did your child do?

Dd was disappointed she didn’t pass but she was so close!! She scored 200 and she needed to score 220

Im still extremely proud of her for even attempting to do it, and she did her best despite me being in the hospital at the time.

quite a few years ago my son needed about 0.5% more. I was gutted at the time. He went onto a not great secondary but did well enough to get into a great sixth form and then went onto russell group unis where he got a first and distinction for his masters.

What I'm trying to say is that all is not lost (which is how i felt at the time).

Oh. We aren’t gutted. I never put any pressure on her. To us, it’s literally a “if you pass you go to this school, if you don’t you go to this school” and that was it. She was a little upset at first because obviously everyone wants to do their best, but I managed to soothe her quickly because we didn’t really care. Tbh it’s probably a hell of a lot cheaper NOT going to the high school
