Please help me; what is the best cleaning stuff to get rid of that horrible kitchen grease that coats everything near the cooker. Really struggling to get it off glass cooker hood and all the tiles around it.
Help Appreciated!

I just use washing up.liquid seems to degrease fine.

I had this, and when we redecorated our builders whipped out a builders cleaning wipe and it was gone in seconds.
Christ knows what's on them, but for really abrasive stuff they are fantastic. Likewise got off copper water stains in a bath, no sweat.
Can get them in local builders merchants and use sparingly.
I did wash down and remove traces of wipes in cooking equipment like glass oven doors, don't want to ingest it!

Agree with the washing up liquid, squirt some onto a sponge with warm water and give the area a good wipe down so it's nice and soapy. Then dry it with a tea towel. Then buff it with a microfibre cloth that's ever so slightly damp with a squirt of kitchen cleaner or anti-bac spray.

Vinegar. Wiping it off before it sets is useful, too ….

but prevention is better than cure, maybe you are cooking at too high a temperature, or should use a lid or a spatter guard

I use sugar soap for de-greasing cooker hoods or similar. Use gloves though, it's incredibly alkaline.

I follow a cleaner on sm,she does free cleans for hoarders etc she uses cif cream on cookers and tiles I did try but I ended up with a powdery residue!
