Going rate for teen babysitter

My 15 year old daughter might be about to do the odd bit of babysitting for a family friend. Friend has asked how much she'd charge and we have no idea what's reasonable - it's so long since we've needed a babysitter.

It wouldn't involve putting children to bed, just being there once they are in bed.

What do you think would be the right ballpark?

Mine gets £8 / hour but does have to play / feed / put to bed.

Yeah I'd go for £8. But it does really depend where you live. A good ballpark I'd look up local childminder rates and charge 150% their hourly daytime rate. So if they are £5 charge £7.50. Any more than that I'd expect the babysitter to have first aid certificate.
