Has anyone seen anything more about this? Seems 2 RAF jets were sent to intercept a plane from Kenya and divert it from Heathrow to Stanstead due to a potential security threat. The story seems to have fallen off the BBC News home page. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-67093649

Kenya Airways plane, Stansted Airport

Kenya Airways plane intercepted and diverted from Heathrow to Stansted

The plane was intercepted by RAF fighters and landed "safely with Essex Police in attendance".

As the plane has landed safely, and Stansted is operating normally, there isn't much to report.

That BBC article includes: llan Kilavuka, CEO of Kenya Airways, said: "There was suspicion of some of the people on board. But nothing to do with a bomb or anything like that"

So my guess is that the operation was intelligence-led and that we won't really hear any more about it (unless a prosecution follows in this country)

This. It's already over.
