Only new thing I've used is the Method cleaning sprays I think?

But never had anything like this.

Any ideas?

I had this when Fairy Liquid changed their formula.

I think it must be a cleaning product. I'm going to have to get some gloves.

Have you used a Brillo pad? They did that to mine for

Do you ever get cured nails done? Gels or acrylics?

I developed pompholyx off the back of the curing light and after my fingers finished itching, the skin would peel all the way down the tip of my finger.

Excessive chopping of pineapples?

It's probably some sort of cleaner, best wear gloves next time.

Had covid or a covid jab recently? The skin peeled off my fingers after I had my first covid jab.

Happened to me when using retinol! Took me a while to connect the two. Applying it to my face with my fingers and not washing hands afterwards.

Clarabellawilliamson · 12/10/2023 21:42

I was going to ask if it was covid related too!

Irridescantshimmmer · 12/10/2023 21:51

I stopped getting this when I increased the amount of semi-skimmed milk I drink every day.

It was a pain in the nether regions, skin would catch on my violin strings! Don't pull it off or you'll end up with an uncontrolled tear which can be deep and hurt like mad.

E45 cream is good for dry hands.

Owlcat42 · 12/10/2023 22:04

I get this from any kind of washing up liquid and some other cleaning products. Yup, get the gloves on

Justchattingaboutthings · 12/10/2023 22:17

I once had peeling like that after touching very-hot-but-not-quite-hot-enough-to-actually-scald pasta.

ArseMenagerie · 12/10/2023 22:25

Desquamation - you can get this two weeks or maybe three after a nasty bacterial infection like scarlet fever

gluenotsoup · 12/10/2023 22:39

dd had that after bad Covid

LikeABanana · 13/10/2023 05:47

No covid. No hand foot and mouth. Never get nails done. Had a flu jab last week. No retinol.
