Dramatic/ chaos inducing GP Advice

Hi

We live about 3.5h away from one set of GP. The GM is the relation, GP been in family about 10y, he was divorced due to being controlling.

Anyway he's restricted over the yrs how often we can see GM. Eg we have never been invited for xmas again, invited once after xmas period. Always invite them and declined.

Theyve never stayed over - basically anything I suggest apart from a 2 day period in summer when they have our (young teen) DC is declined

So now we only see 2-3 a year, usually a rushed meal for 3hr with other relatives where they panic abour getting train for half of if. It means DC dont know them well.

Latest thing is them always looking to create drama. Eg another relative invited us on hols and didnt invite someone else, these GP tried to make into a massive deal blaming me for not inviting other family but wasnt to do with me (grey rocked content and closed it down).

Latest is them arranging events my DC would want to do, not telling me the details/ date, booking it, telling DC to get excited, then when I change one aspect (eg I collect rather than them travelling with them bk on train), its an excuse for massive drama. Yesterday GP crying (!!) about this and telling me to forget the birthday trip. My DC is being bullied at schl and last stress she needed- cancelled fun event due to no reason. I suggested all sorts including change of date but my sinking feeling it this is an attention/ need for drama thing.

Female GP i think is undiagnosed adhd (all signs) and drinks alof. I have wondered about esrly dementia as repeats herself a lot.

DH sick of it, as soon as latest example suggested he said 'forget it, wont happen' but hard to decline outright for no real reason without offence. Feel like being gaslit/ fueling chaos for their enjoyment... any advice thanks

Tldr; but I thought you were talking about your general practitioner at first.
