I need inspiration for a costume for me. It's to wear at a party for all ages. I'm tallish, size 18, wear glasses and flat shoes.

Help?

Darling it does not matter what size you are or what shoes you wear! Or if you wear glasses, your character does not have to have glasses, You are you and you can be anything you like!

Good Lord, you do know the OP is over the age of 4?

I think a witch is a safe bet OP, and the glasses will look fab!

If not, Google fancy dress costumes and you'll get loads of ideas. You can even mix 'n match and make your own version.

Damn - just yesterday I put a short red skirt in clothing recycling! It would have been a cute pair costume with dh.

I always enjoyed doing a boho fortune teller costume. Sexy, mysterious, artistic.

Hmm... I'm getting Professor Trelawney vibes...

(It was so much easier when the dc were younger and I could raid the dressing up box 😁)
